This was a great Sunday. Church meetings were good, as usual. Then when I got home, I put dinner together, or at least everything that could be done ahead. We had grilled salmon, brown rice, fresh black-eyed peas, buttered carrots, fried apples, salad, bread maker bread, and a fruit pizza for dessert. All very good, I might add.
I had a little while before the kids got here to do a few things, like work on family history a little. Then they arrived and the quiet was gone! How fun to have the kids back. They loved Disney, especially meeting the characters. After dinner, they showed us pictures and videos they took.
Ashby and Brooks managed to get some time outside, since the weather was warm and sunny. They were excited to play in the playhouse. Inside, they had the cars and mat out, Thomas the Train and tracks, and legos. And who knows what else! When it was time to leave, they didn't want to go, so it is nice to know that Grandma's house is still someplace they like to be!
