This was pretty much a normal Saturday - cleaning, laundry, some family history, etc. Bill worked out in the yard getting the grass cut really short and some other things. It was a beautiful day - had to be 70.
This evening, we went out with some friends to celebrate a birthday. We were supposed to meet at Cheesecake Factory at 5:00, but that wasn't going to work, so we ended up at a nice Italian place called Dominick's. There were four couples and we had a good time. The food was good, too. Then we went over to the birthday boy's house for German chocolate cake and ice cream to top it all off. We ended up staying a while and had fun talking and laughing.
We rarely go out - we are both such homebodies - but we had a fun time.
