There is a family that we have been trying to get together with to have dinner, but there are always so many scheduling conflicts that it never works. So, we found a date several weeks ago and they came over for hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. We had to make it a little early - 5:00 - since both he and Bill had to be at activities at church tonight, but we managed to have a nice dinner first. Mission accomplished!
That meant I had a few errands to get done today, including straightening the house a little better than usual and running out for some groceries. It all came together very nicely. Their little girls had fun playing in the toy room and outside in the playhouse.
The rest of my day was spent as usual - family history, other projects, etc. A very good day!
