This is Thursday, so the highlight of the day was art class with Ashby and Abby. We started to paint a "real" picture today. We will be mixing many of our own colors (as follow up to last week's study of the color wheel) and we are painting it on a canvas panel. It will probably take us three weeks to finish, but we got a really good start today.
This evening was our Relief Society monthly meeting. (No one knows what to call it anymore!) They had three teachers about being balanced: our bodies, our finances, and spiritually. I taught the last, which was being balanced spiritually when we are so busy. I wasn't sure what to do with that kind of a topic, but I pulled some things together and it actually turned out well. There were not many there, but they all talked and shared. I think it was a success.
