It is hard to imagine Jason at age 37, but that is how old he would be today. Of course, he will always be 21 to us. We didn't "do" anything, other than remember him. Interestingly, one of my high school classmates lost a college age daughter in a car accident near that same time. I didn't know until today that she lost her on October 21st, Jason's birthday. We messaged a little about it today.
Other than running a couple of errands, I was home most of the day. Yes, working on family history, mostly.
Lisa and David wanted to go to the temple this evening, as the daughter of a friend was taking out her endowments prior to leaving on a mission. I went over to their place around 5:00, so I could watch the kids. We had a great time, but they were both so tired that they were in bed pretty early - Ashby by 7:30 and Brooks right after.
Bad news today was that we found out there is a problem using the cabin this weekend, which we have been planning to do. So when I got home, we looked for some alternatives that weren't too expense and found a possibility. We should find out tomorrow if we get it. Of course, everything is more expensive than free, but we are so looking forward to spending a long weekend in North Carolina that we decided that spending a few hundred extra was worth it.
