I finished up the packing this morning and Bill got the car cleaned and loaded for me. Meanwhile, Ashby came for her art class. Today we did clay sculpture. Our project was a cat, but she used the extra time to make a girl. She was really excited. Next time we get together, we will paint them.
I finally got away about 12:30 and was about an hour and a half on my way when Bill called to say that he couldn't find his cell phone and it was probably in my car. Sure enough, so then I had to pull over and wait for him to drive to me and get his phone. It set me back a good bit, but I made great time the rest of the afternoon and made it almost to Paducah, KY.
