Everyone got up at a little more decent time this morning and got everything packed up. We checked out, divided the expenses, and then had to say goodbye. We were on the road by about 9:30.
The rest of the day was just driving. We drove through a few states on our way: Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. Bill didn't follow the GPS as we were going through Memphis and ended up getting us in a traffic jam that must have added an hour to our trip. Even with that, we were home about 10:30. The time change works against us heading east, so it was about a 13 hour drive. That is more than I like to do in a day, but not enough to stop for the night.
We really enjoyed our week with the Shaws. It was our first trip to Branson, which we enjoyed. I am not sure that I will need to visit there again. I mean, how many shows can you really see?
