January 19th - I Do Love Sundays!

Sunday morning was nice and relaxed, as it will be most Sundays this year.  We had french toast for breakfast, since we will not be having a big meal later.  Church was also good.  The talks were excellent.  And, likewise, the RS lesson was really good.  That lesson was taught by a first-time teacher and she was so nervous, but did an excellent job.

My class went well, too.  It was the last formal lesson for the course and was on submitting names to the temple.  For the month of February, we will do some workshops to review what we learned and to answer questions or problems that they may be having.

I wasn't home all that long when Lisa and family arrived.  Brooks did not take a nap, so they came on, but had already eaten.  We had planned on popcorn, snacks, and dessert, instead of a full meal.  It made it a little more relaxed, rather than coming home and trying to get a meal on the table and eating so late.  We had a fun rest of the afternoon and then did the popcorn and brownies.  I did fix a pan of bacon for BLT's, which Bill ate when he got home.

It is going to take a little adjusting to get Sundays to work now.  The last time we were on the late schedule, it wasn't such a problem, for some reason.  But the kids are a little older now and it seems to be harder.  Whatever works is what we will do!
